His academic background is grounded in behavioural science, mental health, and evidence-based practice, forming the foundation of his systems-driven and student-centred approach to education.\r\n\r\nMr. Carte brings extensive experience across international schools and therapeutic settings in Thailand. Prior to joining DBS Denla British School, he worked as a Senior Behavioural Therapist and Substance Abuse Therapist, delivering Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing interventions. His professional expertise includes executive functioning development, behavioural systems design, data-informed intervention, and inclusive education practices.\r\n\r\nAt DBS, Mr Carte provides school-wide learning support, leads staff training in behaviour management, and de-escalation. As International Award Coordinator for the Duke of Edinburgh\u2019s International Award, he oversees the full delivery of the Bronze, Silver, and Gold programmes, including expedition planning, compliance, equipment management, and student development.\r\n\r\nMr Carte is certified in Wilderness First Aid, Positive Handling, and Behavioural De-escalation, and holds Duke of Edinburgh International Award Level 1 and 2, as well as Award Coordinator accreditation.
