These engaging activities are set on a 20mm shock pad for safety, providing a cushioned surface that minimises the risk of injury. The equipment in this area is specifically designed to enhance transverse and balance skills, encouraging children to stretch and move in ways that are both enjoyable and beneficial to their physical development. Unlike structured playground activities, there is no set way to navigate this climber. This freedom encourages students to use their imagination, fostering creativity as they explore different ways to interact with the equipment. This kind of play is crucial not only for emotional and intellectual growth but also for enhancing executive functions like risk management.
