She is dedicated to fostering a calm, safe, and supportive environment that nurtures children\u2019s emotional development and sense of belonging. Building strong relationships with families is central to her approach, helping children to feel safe and secure and fostering their sense of belonging in our Mini Dragons\u2019 family.\r\n\r\nOriginally from Bath, England, Miss Cullen transitioned into teaching over 22 years ago after working in hospitality and having her daughter. Her passion for early years education began at the International School of Como in Italy. She later earned a BA in Early Years from the Open University and a PGCE with Early Years Teacher Status from Bath Spa University in 2017, with a focus on development from birth to age five. Her career has consistently involved working with multilingual children, and she has contributed to policy and practice in this area.\r\n\r\nIn early 2023, Miss Cullen completed an MA in Professional Practice at Bath Spa University. Her research explored promoting physical activity in children and the significance of sensory learning. These studies have shaped her classroom philosophy, emphasising movement, music, and sensory exploration to support individual learning styles.\r\n\r\nMiss Cullen is also passionate about languages and travel, and is enjoying life in Thailand while learning Thai.
