Upon her return to England, she did a PGCE in Teaching and Learning, where she was awarded an \u2018Outstanding\u2019 grade and has 4 yearsof experience of teaching in Key Stage 2 in Devon, England. Miss Kennett is entering her fifth year of teaching at DBS.\r\n\r\nMiss Kennett thoroughly enjoys her role as Deputy Head of Year 5 and 6 and Y6 Class Teacher. She has a passion for building strong relationships with her students and creating a dynamic, supportive and exciting learning environment. She is very much enjoying working with Year 6 students and being part of their learning journey. She wishes to inspire children to always try their best, take pride in their learning and enjoy sharing their successes with others. Her aim is for the children in her class to always come to school with a positive attitude, excited for the day of learning ahead.\r\n\r\nOutside of school, Miss Kennett\u2019s passion is horse riding, and she has represented the Cayman Islands, where she grew up, in international show jumping and dressage competitions. While living in Bangkok, she enjoys keeping fit and can be found most evenings doing workout classes.
