He first became interested in working with children when he was a full-time nanny during his gap year before university. He also spent both summers prior to university working as a Camp Counsellor at a Summer Camp in New Jersey, USA. He studied Psychology at the University Of Southampton. During his Psychology degree, he specialised in Developmental Psychology, which involved conducting a study at a local Primary school. After university he completed a TESOL degree and then taught English to children in Spain and Taiwan for several years. This solidified his love of teaching and he returned to London to complete a PGCE at London Metropolitan University.<\/span>\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mr Mildiner is a highly motivated, creative and experienced teacher. He has been teaching at British international schools in Thailand for more than 20 years. He has worked in the roles of Key Stage 1 Classroom Teacher, Computing Teacher, Design Technology Coordinator and Technology Integrator. He is a vocal and passionate advocate for providing exciting and creative learning opportunities for students across the curriculum, which incorporate Computing and Design Technology activities. When he is not teaching Computing at DBS, he greatly enjoys delivering inspirational STEAM lessons during Summer School and Saturday School, which usually involve his favourite subjects of Computing and Design Technology.<\/span>\r\n\r\n&nbsp;\r\n\r\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a dog lover, Mr Mildiner is committed to improving animal welfare and he has been a strong supporter of the local charities PAWS (Pet Animal Welfare Society) and Soi Dog Foundation for many years.
