There are many recognised benefits of students participating in Outdoor Education activities. Annually, all Prep students participate in a residential away from their home, with the focus being on extending the students experiences and horizons.
Outdoor education develops students’ self-awareness, confidence and self-esteem. It develops collaborative-working and communication skills. It provides positive health benefits – both physically and mentally – and assists gross and fine-motor development.
Lastly it develops a lifelong love of the outdoors.
