At DBS we invest heavily in our students’ all-round development and potential. We believe that our students are not only active learners but can also be dynamic and effective leaders. At DBS we are very proud to offer many different leadership opportunities, across many different age ranges.

Why do we offer Leadership opportunities at DBS?

It gives our students an opportunity to develop their leadership skills; by organising and carrying out school activities and projects that positively contribute to the spirit and ethos of DBS.

Although our students may be young, it gives us a glimpse of the great leaders they can be in the future. With each opportunity and encouragement to grow their skills in a healthy, productive, and appropriate direction, these students can become the effective global leaders of tomorrow.

What is Leadership?

A student leader is any student who takes on the responsibility of spreading knowledge and guidance through inspiration, enthusiasm, and hard work. A student leader at DBS strives to change the world by starting within their own school community. Our student leaders either have or develop through their leadership roles, the following characteristics:
