Dr Akarapong Katchamart

Dr Akarapong Katchamart (Palm) was born and bred in Bangkok. After earning a B.Sc. in Food Technology from Chulalongkorn University, he went on to pursue an M.Sc. in Facilities Management from Pratt Institute in New York City. He later completed his Ph.D. in Facilities Management at the Technical University of Denmark in Copenhagen.

With over 18 years of experience, Dr Akarapong has held a wide range of roles in facilities management, specialising in healthcare and commercial sectors. His expertise spans consultancy, instruction, and hands-on practice in prestigious institutions and corporations before joining DBS.

While diving in the fast-paced world of facility management, Dr Akarapong found GOD in mundane objects, daily routines, and doing chores. Street photography has become his way of conversing with GOD, capturing moments that speak to his faith.

Mr Akarapong reflections and spiritual journey have been featured in Thai online magazines from time to time.
