Mark studied Sport, Recreation, Physical Education and Sociology, and received his degree from the University of Liverpool. He was awarded a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Liverpool John Moores University.
Mark’s educational philosophy is rather quite simple; a happy child will learn better than a sad child. Mark has worked predominately in both the Pastoral and Safeguarding areas of education and has spent his 21-year professional career in schools and Academy Trusts across North West England and Thailand, including roles as a PE specialist, Head of PE, Director of Sport, Director of Key Stage, Head of House and SLT member.
Mark is an avid sports fan, still playing rugby regularly in Bangkok, as well as competing in endurance sports events. He loves to travel and explore new places whilst simultaneously getting lost in a gripping book. Future goals include mastering the Thai language and visiting every county in SE Asia.
