She completed a PGCE at Newcastle University, followed by a Master of Education (MEd). She has ten years of experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) in the UK and served as the Head of Department during that time. Additionally, she spent eight years at Shrewsbury as Head of Department.
