We are excited to celebrate the outstanding achievements of Sprint, one of our talented Year 8 students, who has been making waves in the national swimming scene. Competing in the age 13-and-under category, Sprint collected an impressive three gold medals in the 100m backstroke, 200m backstroke, and 200m individual medley. On top of that, she secured two silver medals in the 400m individual medley and the 50m backstroke, demonstrating her versatility and technical skill across multiple events.

What makes Sprint’s performance even more exceptional is her time in the 200m backstroke, which currently ranks second across all age groups in Thailand. Achieving such a high national ranking at the age of just 13 is a tremendous accomplishment and a testament to her dedication, discipline, and focus both in and out of the pool.

Sprint’s talent is inspired in part by her mother, who was also an accomplished swimmer and has passed on her love of the sport and competitive spirit. This family tradition of swimming excellence is clearly continuing in the next generation.

Her results now put her firmly on track for potential selection to the Thai national team for the 33rd SEA Games in December 2025. The selection process focuses on swimmers who achieve top-two national rankings and meet or exceed previous SEA Games medal standards, making Sprint one of the strongest prospects among young swimmers in Thailand.

All of us at DBS are enormously proud of Sprint’s achievements. She is a shining example of resilience, determination, and passion for sport — values we strive to nurture in all our students. We will be cheering Sprint on as she continues to pursue her goals and develop her talent even further.

Congratulations, Sprint — you inspire us all!
