Miss Charley Ryland
Miss Ryland is from Bournemouth, England. She attended Bath Spa University to study Psychology and Education, gaining her BSc with honours. She then gained Qualified Teacher Status, teaching at a range of schools across the areas of Bournemouth and Southampton. Since qualifying in 2015, she has enjoyed a happy and rewarding time teaching across a range of year groups in both key stages at a school in Bournemouth. During her time at this school, she was proud to lead the school’s writing curriculum and key stage 2 singing.
Miss Ryland has gained a wealth of experience teaching across different age groups, always ensuring her lessons allow for growth and discovery through a hands-on learning approach. She develops a classroom environment where children feel comfortable and confident to challenge themselves and find excitement and enjoyment in their learning journey. It is this adventurous and curious attitude to learning that enables children to discover new things each and every day.
When she is not teaching, Miss Ryland enjoys nothing more than getting outdoors and making new discoveries of her own! She loves exploring new places and travels as widely as possible, having visited Thailand, Slovakia, Morocco, Spain and the USA among others. Miss Ryland particularly enjoys spending time in Scotland, having visited three times in order to camp, hike and kayak. When spending time indoors, she enjoys watching rugby, Formula 1 or settling down with a good book! She is very much looking forward to exploring Thailand and other areas of Asia to absorb all of the beauty, culture and food it has to offer!
