A Moment of National Recognition for Our DBS Community

We are proud to share that a DBS Denla British School student has been selected to take part in Young Smart: “Young ทำดี” 2025, a national initiative organised by Thailand’s Ministry of Culture.

We would like to warmly congratulate Vincenzo, Year 10, on receiving this national honour. The Young Smart: “Young ทำดี” award is highly competitive, with more than 325 children and young people aged 8–18 nominated nationwide, and only 74 students selected. Recipients are recognised for demonstrating positive values, strong character, public spirit, and a commitment to contributing meaningfully to society — qualities that reflect the wider aims of the programme.

In addition to this recognition, Vincenzo has been selected as a Thai youth representative in the performing arts and will compete at the World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) 2026 in Las Vegas, USA, from 13–21 July 2026, following his successful performance in the WCOPA Thailand auditions in Hip Hop dance.

Vincenzo is a student with wide-ranging talents across both performing arts and academics. He has achieved national and international recognition as a pianist and hip hop dancer, and has also demonstrated academic excellence, earning medals at the World Scholar’s Cup – Tournament of Champions held at Yale University, USA.

At DBS Denla British School, we are proud to see our students recognised beyond the classroom — not only for their abilities, but for the values they uphold. Vincenzo’s achievements reflect a balanced approach to learning, creativity, and responsibility.

Congratulations, Vincenzo. Your DBS community is proud of you.
