Miss Batson is from London in England, and studied at the University of Reading. She gained First Class BA honours in Primary Education with a Music Specialism. Since qualifying four years ago, Miss Batson has been a teacher in Early Years in a school in Maidenhead, England.
Miss Batson has loved learning for as long as she can remember, and puts all of her effort into planning and delivering creative, inspiring and engaging lessons. She knows that Early Years is the essential foundation in preparing children for the ever-changing world, and promotes independence, resilience and critical thinking through meaningful learning opportunities. She firmly believes that every child should feel valued, safe and special in order to reach their full potential.
When she is not teaching, Miss Batson enjoys doing musical activities such as singing; leading and performing in choirs and attending musical events like the theatre. Miss Batson loves travelling, being active outdoors and experiencing new places and cultures. She loves to try new types of food and local delicacies, as well as meeting new people!
