Mrs Tomoko Matsushita

Mrs Tomoko Matsushita is a whole school Physical Education teacher who has been teaching in Bangkok for the past 9 years. She has thoroughly enjoyed her first year at DBS, getting to know the wonderful students and staff. Mrs Matsushita is looking forward to being the Year 7 & 8 Head of section next year having been a Year 6 tutor for 6B this year. Her sons, Callen and Lochlan have had an amazing first year at DBS too. Mrs Matsushita is of Japanese and Chinese/Malaysian descent, having grown up and been educated in London, UK.

She has wide experience in a variety of schools and settings, having taught in London, Tokyo, Kuala Lumpur and Thailand during her teaching career. With her passion, values and expertise deeply rooted in pastoral care and making PE fun and memorable for all, Mrs Matsushita loves developing the fundamental skills in all sports thereby nurturing a lifelong passion for sport in students. She enjoys spending time with family, exploring new countries and cultures. Mrs Matsushita is looking forward to a great year ahead.
