Year 4 visited GalloThai chocolate factory. We have had a fantastic day learning all about how chocolate is made – from bean to bar! We got to smell, touch and see a real cocoa pod and watch how it became delicious chocolate. We made sure that we cleaned our hands and put on our hair masks before watching how the cocoa beans were ground to make powder, butter and mass. The best part of the whole day was making our own chocolate bars to take home. We poured liquid chocolate into mounds and decorated them! We are looking forward to eating them when they have set.
