MVP – Kaopan
DBS started confidently, wearing their new kit for the first time. There were lots of early exchanges, but it was a low scoring first quarter, with DBS trailing 3-2 at the break. The second quarter followed in much the same way, with Kaopan being busy around the court, ably supported by Pan in attack and defence. DBS were heavily outscored in the third quarter, finding themselves 9 behind at the final break. There were skilful cameos from Nammon and JK who showed lots of running and willing in attack. The boys were unable to overturn the 9 point deficit, eventually losing 25-16. A chance of revenge is on the cards if DBS meet them again in next week’s GBAC tournament.
