This week the Music Department hosted its first ever Recital Evening to showcase the Music Scholars and more advanced musicians in the school. The audience was treated to a sublime evening of musicianship, with performances of Brahms, Bach, Scarletti an Bartock, as well as students’ own compositions. The newly formed String Quintet also performed, as did the Senior Choir and Jazz Band. It was a real pleasure to witness such a high level of music making and we look forward to seeing how these talented young people progress in their musical journey.
