The STEM skills set (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) is vital for today and tomorrow, and Maths is the subject that lays the foundation for the others. Learning Maths can be fun with the right encouragement.
In celebration of Pi “π” day at DBS, students familiarised themselves with numbers by doing a scavenger hunt to find Pi symbols and hidden Pi digits around the campus. They also made creative pies. Activities such as these give a different perspective on such an academically intense subject.
