“Magic happens when you read.” Two great gifts are the written word, and the ability to read. We don’t need a magic wand to cast life-fulfilling spells – reading already does the job, taking us further with our imagination.
The DBS community celebrated our literacy culture by dressing up as characters from books to reflect the fun and love of reading. The theme was based on the Mad Hatter reference from Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, a marvellously imaginative story.
