Becoming Scientists at Home with a Fun Experiment – Making a Water Filter

Students did their little experiments at home while doing distance learning.

In the Science online class, students learned how to design and build a device that can clean dirty water using materials around their homes. This is the same model used by engineers and scientists to develop a water filtration system.

This is just a concept of how to filter dirty water. Even though the water is not clean enough to drink, the experiment benefited the children greatly, giving them a glimpse of the science behind our everyday lives as well as inspiring them to love Science.
