Grow the smart mindset for your child with the ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND CREATIVE THINKING CAMP at DBS SCHOOL 17 – 21 February 2020
“Business owner” is the future career that many are dreaming of because you can be your own boss, think and work independently. However, to learn how to work like an entrepreneur after you have graduated might be too late. Today, students need to learn the entrepreneurship mindset at a young age so that they can precisely plan for their future and be more likely to succeed. The more that children know about their dream careers, the more likely they are to achieve their goal.
At DBS Denla British School, our focus is on ‘Nurturing Global Leaders’, part of which means ensuring academic excellence, and equipping young entrepreneurs to become global leaders. Today, DBS launches “ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND CREATIVE THINKING CAMP” to inspire students about the entrepreneurship mindset, and educate them about the value of money and financial management. It is necessary for every business owner to have effective financial management to drive the business to its goal. For the business to succeed, it needs creativity, new and fresh ideas, and also creative designs for the products that meet the customer’s demands. Moreover, students need to be aware about social responsibility and the environment, which is going to be at the heart of business, especially in this 5G era where customers are more focused on their desired products, as well as its environmental impact. These 2 factors have become popular in this era. Therefore, young entrepreneurs must learn and practise their creativity by studying the product’s modern appeal and its ‘story’.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND CREATIVE THINKING CAMP is open for students aged 6-12 years old. Students will be introduced to the entrepreneur experience for 5 days and they will be learning in English with expert teachers. The highlight of the camp is learning through workshops where students can use their creativity through crafts, games, as well as practise through roleplaying activities.
Students will also learn how to think like an entrepreneur and solve problems. The Marketing Design will be taught in class to encourage students to work independently as a true business owner. Students will have a chance to showcase and sell their creative products to parents and guests at the DBS market on the course’s final day.
