Year 9 students have begun their IGCSE English coursework during distance learning by studying Macbeth – an epic story from the famous English writer, William Shakespeare.
To understand the context of the play, the Y9 class was split up to research different aspects of life in Jacobean England. After researching and independent group work, they all presented their areas of expertise to the class, taking control of the screen and sharing their knowledge.
Students have impressed us with their independent research, and effective engagement in their online learning. We are sure that when we are back on campus, their learning progress will exceed expectations, and they will be ready for their IGCSE in the future.
