DBS v WCIB W 34-19

The JV Boys started slowly against a well disciplined Wellington College (WCIB) team. DBS struggled to find their rhythm during the first quarter which was competitive and saw WCIB lead by 2 points after some excellent outside shooting. Nacho and Kaopan allowed DBS to gain control of the game and slowly the boys started to find gaps in the defence to score. Some excellent rebounding from Pan meant DBS took a narrow lead at half time.
During the second half DBS showed excellent teamwork, defending as a unit superbly. Excellent performances from JK both offensively and defensively, Pheam, Yoyo and Sep rebounded the ball well which allowed Nammon, Chess and Hai opportunities when moving the ball forward quickly.
DBS showed dominance during the second half and finished the game comfortably with a 34-19 win.
The first victory for the boys, who look forward to next weeks fixture. Many thanks to those parents who came to support.
