The 4 great Houses of DBS came together to do battle in our annual House Tug of War competition. Students, parents and staff showed their determination, strength, and sportsmanship, battling to determine who would win the trophy! This year’s event was bigger and better than ever, with House Tug of War competitions in Y3-6, Y7-10 and also House Staff/Parents teams, all demonstrating the amazing House spirit and ethos that runs through DBS. The final in the Y3-6 competition was an even contest, eventually won by the sheer grit of the Y3-6 Sandringham team, who were up against a very stubborn and determined Y3-6 Balmoral team. The Y7-10 students’ final was between Sandringham and Buckingham, and the crown went to the defending champions and two time winners, Sandringham! In the staff/parents competition, there was another double winner, with Balmoral House retaining their title of Champions in an epic duel against Windsor House. At the end of the day, we celebrated teamwork and friendship within our warm DBS community. It was so much fun!
