Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night’ recreated by students’ own interpretations of Bangkok’s night sky.

Inspired by Van Gogh’s famous ‘Starry Night’ painting, Y1 students interpreted their own ideas of the famous painting, and recreated the textures, techniques, and colours to make their own Starry Night painting using Bangkok’s night sky as a reference.

During the Distance Learning, students have enjoyed exploring all the ways that we can be creative at home using real paint, pencils and the paint tools on Seesaw application.

Also by using the masterpiece of Van Gogh, it is a great way to inspire children for the lifelong appreciation of art, and to trigger their artistic exploration, imagination and aspiration.
