Our Year 4 students have made a collaborative art project together online. They used multi-media to recreate a picture of their class animals: Peacock, Parrot and Heron. They did a fantastic job at matching up their images to their peers and had lots of fun creating them too.
Collaborative Art projects are very beneficial to students. They provide community experiences where everyone contributes to a piece of art together, promoting the development of social belonging, and allowing self-expression. Moreover, students learned to work together, respect each other’s work and skill levels, and understand the nature of teamwork.
Our collaborative art project has demonstrated students’ potential, resilience, and independence in terms of how well they have learned and engaged in online learning.
